NI Schools Hub Ltd. was founded in 2024 by author, experienced teacher, teacher trainer, and senior examiner, Shane McComb. This hub amalgamates a variety of primary and post-primary subjects taught in NI schools.
About the Founder
Shane is a highly motivated and enthusiastic teacher who participated in the esteemed TeachFirst programme. He has garnered experience in both the state and independent education sectors in London and is currently teaching at a Grammar school in Northern Ireland as Digital Learning Leader and Subject Leader of Economics.
Recently, Shane has been involved as an author and Senior Examiner. His contributions include writing revision guides and drafting exam papers and mark schemes for one of the UK's foremost examination boards. In his current capacity, Shane imparts training to fellow teachers on marking and moderating work.
In the past, Shane has taken the helm of large faculties in the educational sector and other industries. His roles have spanned positions such as Educational Strategic Advisor, Senior Teacher, Head of Department, Head of CEIAG, Head of Oxbridge Entry and Key Stage 11-13 Director.
